I had initially ordered a JL Audio 12 bass wedge box, but after spending time with it I didn't really care for the included JL Audio 12 subs,wasn't really impressing me,so after some research i decided to go & get the NVX 12 subs after some breaking in period they really came to life,i had to adjust my subsonic filter on my Deaf Bonce amplifier with a multimeter and everything fell into place,NVX subs get pretty deep once u do everything on your part, nothing is plug & play...

I built a ported box out of 3/4" birch plywood for the dual 2 ohm 12. 1.95 cu ft net with a 1.75 x 16 x 29.25 long slot port. I'm running this subwoofer from a Dayton 2.1 channel amp with the coils in series for 4 ohms. I have the levels adjusted to taste and the sub is getting probably around 50 watts or so at normal listening levels. This is producing enough volume to be easily overpowering in my roughly 12x24' living room. It is crossed over at 50hz/12dB. I was going to put this in my work van, but it's way too good, I need to use it in the house where I can enjoy the realism and detail. Grab one or two while they are still $69. NVX is a great value SQ company.

haven’t test besides ohms both voice coils were2 ohms and wired to 1 ohm fine so far looking good just need the right box
